The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has issued a call for proposals focused on integrated interventions in basic health care, mental health and psychosocial support, and nutrition for displaced persons.
The program targets several health sectors, including HIV/AIDS, general health, emergency health services, health systems strengthening, immunization, maternal and newborn health with emergency obstetric care, reproductive and sexual health services.
Nutrition is also a key focus, covering malnutrition prevention and treatment, general nutrition, and nutrition in emergency contexts.
Geographically, the intervention will take place in Niger, specifically in the Agadez region.
Applicants will be evaluated based on their sector expertise and experience, project management capabilities, local presence, and cost-effectiveness. Other important criteria include the contribution of resources, accountability to communities and community relations, sustainability of the proposed intervention, and considerations related to access and security.
