The U.S Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is seeking applications for ‘Technical Assistance to Central Asian National HIV Programs to Achieve and Sustain HIV Epidemic Control under the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)’.

The purpose of this notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) is to accelerate the progress of national HIV programs in the Central Asia Region to achieve the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/ AIDS (UNAIDS) 90/90/90 targets and sustain HIV epidemic control.

This announcement is only for non-research activities supported by CDC. Recipients may not use funds for research. Certain activities that may require human subjects review due to institutional requirements but that are generally considered not to constitute research (e.g., formative assessments, surveys, disease surveillance, program monitoring and evaluation, field evaluation of diagnostic tests, etc.) may be funded through this mechanism.
