Elevate Youth California is investing in a statewide movement to expand youth and young adult substance use prevention through policy, systems, and environmental change, focusing on communities disproportionately impacted by the War on Drugs.

Elevate Youth California is grounded in social justice youth development,1,2 which expands the concept of a positive youth development framework and addresses social factors including racism, xenophobia, and other racial inequities youth face as they develop into adulthood.

The Center at Sierra Health Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization bringing people, ideas, and infrastructure together to create a collective impact that reduces health disparities and improves community health for the underserved living in California.
