The Government of India is accepting applications for the “Live and Then Give be a Ray of Hope for Someone” Slogan Writing Contest.

Angdaan Mahotsav campaign kicked started on 1st July, 2023 in line with the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to raise awareness on organ donation across the country. As part of the campaign, 3rd August, 2023 will be celebrated as Indian Organ Donation Day to commemorate the first deceased donor organ transplant, which was also the first Heart transplant done in the country, after promulgation of “The Transplantation of Human Organ Act” on 8th July, 1994. The month of July 2023 is being organised as the Organ Donation month wherein many awareness activities have been planned.

National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in collaboration with MyGov platform is organizing Slogan Writing Competition on Organ Donation as part of the Angdaan Mahotsav.
