Mental Health and Addictions Award 2022 in Canada

Nominations are now open for the Mental Health and Addictions Award 2022 to recognize and support individuals and organizations who demonstrate innovation in the field of mental health and addiction care.

Mental health and addictions are complex issues that affect many Canadians. The steps taken to protect Canadians from COVID-19 have brought greater focus to these issues. Innovation in practice and knowledge in mental health and addiction care continues to be nourished and rewarded.

All recipients will be recognized nationally and used as examples to promote innovation and collaboration across Canada. The award's objective is to highlight innovation in non-governmental, private, or academic sectors.

Award Details

Each province and territory will issue one award valued at $5,000. The recipients will also receive a certificate signed by their Premier.

Eligibility Criteria

The Award provides recognition and support for non-governmental, community, private sector, academic, and Indigenous-led initiatives in Saskatchewan. Indigenous government initiatives are eligible.
