The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has announced the applications for Assessment of existing infrastructure including Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Facilities, Health waste management (HWM) and oxygen system in Health Care facilities, as well as ADAP related facilities (Adolescents Innovation Labs, Impact Source Hub, Safe Space) and other facilities and Preparation of the project design, BoQ, estimation and technical documents (technical specification for construction and equipment) and with or without author supervision in those facilities.
The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Tajikistan, is looking for potential contractors for the following main item:
Assessment of existing infrastructure including Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Facilities, Health waste management (HWM) and oxygen system in Health Care facilities, as well as ADAP related facilities (Adolescents Innovation Labs, Impact Source Hub, Safe Space) and other facilities and Preparation of the project design, BoQ, estimation and technical documents (technical specification for construction and equipment) and with or without author supervision in those facilities.
Assessment of:
- WASH in the departments (toilets and showers), kitchen, laundry and laboratories of CDH (condition of the floor coverings, walls and ceiling, toilets, shower, availability of the wash basins, baths and water heaters, sinks, connection to the water supply and sewerage system and appropriate spaces for the menstrual hygiene management).
- Outpatient toilet (availability of toilet (ventilated improved pit or flush) from 4 and more points including available access and point for people with disabilities) with connection to the cesspool or sewer system.
- Health waste management (HWM) infrastructure in CDH (availability of the separate infrastructure including pits for ash, glass waste and for placenta);
- Oxygen system in Health Care facilities (availability of a functioning system, technical oxygen supply facilities, pipelines, consoles, oxygen cabinets and cylinders), on the status of access to the building, wards, checking the availability of the necessary land, electricity, as well as access to and support infrastructure in HCFs);
- Assessment of existing infrastructure including Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Facilities in schools, Adolescents Innovation Labs, Impact Source Hub and Safe Spaces and other offices
- Infrastructure (including WASH) (condition of the floor coverings, walls and ceiling, toilets, shower, availability of the wash basins and water heaters, sinks, connection to the water supply and sewerage system and appropriate spaces for the menstrual hygiene management).
- Assessment of existing infrastructure including Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Facilities in refugee reception and accommodation centers, camps (availability of land, electricity, water (centralized water supply system or borehole (or both) (water tower or reservoir) and sewerage system, toilets and showers, laundry, kitchen, medical point.
- Assessment of existing infrastructure including water supply system, wastewater system and networks in community level
- Preparation of the project design, BoQ, estimation and technical documents (technical specification for construction and equipment) and author supervision in HCFs
- Preparation of the project design, BoQ, estimation and technical documents (technical specification for construction and equipment) and author supervision in schools, Adolescents Innovation Labs, Impact Source Hub and Safe Spaces and other offices
- Preparation of the project design, BoQ, estimation and technical documents (technical specification for construction and equipment) and author supervision in refugee reception and accommodation centers, camps
- Preparation of the project design, BoQ, estimation and technical documents (technical specification for construction and equipment) and author supervision on community level
Eligibility Criteria
- Please note the following:
- UNICEF does not deal with designing firms who are non-compliant with the National Labour Laws and Regulations and with those who are do not abide to ethical standards related to child Labour and landmines.
- UNICEF payment terms are after delivery (no advance payment).
- UNICEF prefers to collaborate with experienced designing firms and with those who have previous working experience with either UN or International Organizations;
- UNICEF requires to provide max 10% of the Contract value, unconditional and cashable on demand Bank Guarantee in currency of contract for any design works, prior to sign the contract.
- Upon receipt and review of the documents, UNICEF officials shall only visit the office (premises) of the designing firms who have submitted complete documentation and who meet the UNICEF criteria before considering them as potential designing firms (companies).
