UNODC in collaboration with Safe and Fair Cambodia, is holding a hackathon as part of a 1-day forum in Phnom Penh, bringing together youth, migrant women, civil society, human trafficking experts, tech companies, media, and allies to examine issues and share experiences and explore creative and innovative solutions to combatting human trafficking online, and ways to make the online environment safer for Cambodian women and youth within the context of post-pandemic cross-border migration.

Program Details

A key component of this multi-faceted event is a Mini-HACKATHON. This hackathon will bring together technology experts, programmers, and ethical ‘hackers’ to explore online and technology solutions to address human trafficking online, and facilitate safe migration.  Proposed solutions and ideas will be later presented to the wider audience attending the Live Forum.
