The Department of State Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons (TIP Office) announces an open competition for grant funding to support the Program to End Modern Slavery (PEMS), applicants are invited to submit proposals describing how they will advance transformational, research-integrated projects in Brazil.

The goal of PEMS is to measurably and substantially reduce the prevalence of human trafficking in targeted populations in partner countries and jurisdictions through innovative interventions driven by research, monitoring, evaluation, and learning, and the expansion of partnerships with government, academia, civil society organizations, international organizations, and the private sector.
