The Artist in Residence Program enables professional artists to undertake residencies while host organizations benefit from the artist’s creative work and engagement with their community. The program strengthens New Brunswick’s arts ecosystem by increasing residency opportunities for local artists.

Residency Scope and Duration

• Residencies may take place in New Brunswick, elsewhere in Canada, abroad, or in Quebec (in partnership with the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec).

• Residencies can be on-site or virtual.

• Duration: up to 12 months per residency.
