Y-PEER Sri Lanka with support from Y-PEER Asia Pacific Center, Youthday.Space, Robert Carr Fund, and Asia Pacific Hub for Peer Education are going to conduct the 1st National Y-PEER E-course on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights.
The E-course would provide information about Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) focusing on educating and advocating through peer-led initiatives.
Its objective is to engage youths meaningfully through peer education and to help them gain easy access to relevant information and services that can enhance their capacity to live healthy and productive life.
The e-course will be held online using zoom platform to engage and enhance interactions among the participants.
What are the topics included in the e-course?
The e-course will cover the following topics:
- Session 1 – Adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health and rights & Comprehensive sexuality education
- Session 2 – Gender equality
- Session 3 – Cyberbullying, Online Safety and Privacy
- Session 4 – SRHR of Young Key Populations and Young People with Diverse Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression (SOGIE)
The e-course will take 4 days session to complete and will be sending a question link after each session.
What will you receive at the end of the e-course?
- The participants who complete the e-course successfully will receive a “Certificate of Participation” from Y-PEER Sri Lanka
- The participants will get the benefits of getting access to all their presentation slides, reading materials and manuals
Eligibility Criteria
Young people between ages 16 to 30.
