The Culture & Museums International Tech Forum announces its first “Call for Startups” with the aim of promoting digital entrepreneurship in the cultural sector, giving national and international visibility to companies with innovative solutions for the cultural sector, creating an international community that promotes and consolidate the growth of cultural management based on technological innovation and improve the competitiveness of cultural companies through innovation strategies.
With this “Call for Startups” they join the challenge of the digital transformation of the cultural sector and they also want you to participate in it. From the organization of CM Málaga they look for the startups that are providing the most innovative solutions to the challenges of the digitalization of the cultural sector.
The objective of this “Call for Startups” is to promote digital entrepreneurship in the cultural sector, give national and international visibility to companies with innovative solutions for the cultural sector, create an international community that promotes and consolidates the growth of the cultural management based on technological innovation and improve the competitiveness of cultural companies through innovation strategies.

Award Information
- The 4 candidates that are selected will be the beneficiaries of a prize in €1,000 in cash and a package of promotional actions, visibility and branding valued at €4,000.
- Travel Coverage of travel and accommodation expenses (up to two hotel nights in Malaga capital in a 4 hotel) for the representative of the startup.
Eligibility Criteria
- This call is aimed at startups and EDT companies in the cultural segment, with innovative capacity both nationally and internationally. They must offer solutions to the main future challenges facing the management of the cultural sector, in general, and of museums and cultural spaces, in particular.
- The profile of the entity submitting the application must be related to: artists, cultural and creative industries, tech companies specialized in culture, as well as suppliers of products, technological coverage and services related to museums and emerging cultural spaces.
- The application information sheet must be accompanied by the following information: Name and surnames, email address and contact telephone number of the application.
