Hashtag Suraksha Cyber Security Reels Competition for Intermediate Category (15-17 years) – India

Singapore: Cybersecurity Industry Call for Innovation 2022

Deadline: 27-Nov-2025

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), in collaboration with Cyber Buddha and hosted on MyGov, invites teenagers aged 15–17 years to showcase their creativity and awareness through the Hashtag Suraksha Cyber Security Reels Competition (Intermediate Category).

This initiative empowers students to use their voice and perspective to promote cyber safety by highlighting issues such as online privacy, cyberbullying, secure digital payments, and reporting cyber frauds. It provides a platform for participants to express, educate, and inspire their peers toward responsible and secure online practices.

The focus areas of the competition include online privacy and identity protection, cyberbullying awareness and empathy, safer online payments and transactions, and reporting scams along with spreading awareness about the helpline 1930.

The top three winners will receive the prestigious Cyber Shield Trophy, cash prizes, and certificates from CERT-In, while the top seven runners-up will be awarded medals and certificates. Open to Indian citizens aged 15 to 17 years, the competition encourages participation with parental or school consent.

Entries will be evaluated on creativity, clarity, originality, and relevance to cyber safety, with the evaluation committee’s decision being final and binding.

The deadline for applications is 27 November 2025.
