Submissions open for Art and Design Competition in Mongolia

Solidarity Fund for Artists and Cultural Organizations in Africa

Deadline: 09-Nov-2025

The U.S. Embassy in Mongolia has announced its Art and Design Competition to encourage artists, reflecting on shared values, friendship, and the spirit of celebration that connects their two nations.

The design must include visual elements that represent both the United States and Mongolia, showcasing the connection between the two nations. It should capture the spirit of winter holidays through traditions, symbols, or festive scenes that reflect the joy and warmth of the season.

Participants can earn bonus points by creatively incorporating America250 themes or imagery into their artwork. All submissions must be entirely original, as any design that is AI-generated or AI-edited will be disqualified.

The competition encourages creativity and cultural expression, offering participants the chance to highlight the friendship between the United States and Mongolia through art. Entrants can submit one original design in JPEG, PNG, or PDF format, with a file size not exceeding 100MB. The artwork should avoid any copyrighted material, and if text is included, it must remain minimal and relevant.

Participants must submit their entries through the official form, including their full name, contact details, the medium used—such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, sculpture, or digital—and a brief 200-word description of the design.

By submitting their work, artists grant the U.S. Embassy permission to use the artwork for its holiday card, both digitally and in print. Designs must be original, and any submission that violates the stated guidelines or includes inappropriate content will be disqualified.

All entries must be received by November 09, 2025.
