Dominion Energy Awards $1 Million in Environmental Education and Stewardship Grants

The Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation is inviting applications from organizations including nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations and public and private K-12 schools in communities served by Dominion Energy companies for environmental education and stewardship grants program. The Foundation annually awards up to $1 million through this grants program. The last date of submission of application is February 26, 2018. All applicants will be notified by April 09, 2018.

The Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation considers grant requests up to $25,000 that focus on specific, short-term projects that promise measurable results to improve the environment, and K-12 requests up to $5,000. The projects should support one or more of the following priorities:

The Environmental Education and Stewardship Grants Program is being offered in and near communities served by Dominion Energy Companies, including:

A panel of Dominion Energy representatives that includes members of Dominion Energy’s local Community Investment Boards, Foundation staff and Environmental Services staff, serving as subject matter experts, will review the applications.
