Deadline: 31-Jul-2025
The Administration for Community Living has opened a call for proposals for research projects focused on expanding the reach and impact of evidence-based falls prevention programs and interventions.
This grant aims to support research that addresses existing gaps in evidence and evaluates the benefits of integrating proven multifactorial falls prevention strategies into everyday practice. These strategies may be used alone or in combination with exercise programs to help prevent falls among older adults.
The funded studies must use an implementation research approach. The goal is to increase the adoption of these interventions in community settings and demonstrate their real-world impact. This funding is not meant for creating new programs or interventions.
The total funding available for the program is estimated at $4,650,000. Individual awards may range from a minimum of $1,450,000 to a maximum of $4,650,000.
Eligible applicants include domestic public or private non-profit entities such as state and local governments, tribal governments and organizations, faith-based and community-based organizations, hospitals, and higher education institutions. Organizations must be U.S.-based; foreign entities are not eligible for this opportunity.
