The DisCouRSE Flexible Fund is designed to support community-led projects that enhance leadership and career development within the digital Research Technical Professional (dRTP) community.
The fund encourages proposals that align with DisCouRSE’s mission to empower and connect leaders across various dRTP roles, including data scientists, research infrastructure engineers, data stewards, and technical specialists in the arts and humanities.
Individual projects can budget up to £10k funding at 100% full economic cost (fEC) level. (If there is an exceptional reason to request a larger budget that absolutely cannot wait until the second funding call in spring 2026, please contact us in advance of the submission deadline to discuss.) Projects should start between 01/01/2026 and 01/04/2026. Projects must last no more than 12 months.
Applicants are invited to submit projects that contribute to the development of leaders within the digital research sector. The fund seeks proposals that demonstrate a clear impact on leadership development and career progression within the dRTP community. Projects should be innovative, collaborative, and capable of fostering a supportive environment for emerging leaders in the field.
