PERSPECTIVE Fund Cooperation Fine Arts Programme (France and Germany)

Round 1: Touring of Work Scheme in Ireland

Deadline: 04-Jan-2026

The PERSPEKTIVE Funds offer a unique opportunity for cultural and artistic structures, theorists, critics, and curators from France and Germany to develop cross-border collaborations and projects.

Stimulate the development of new research collaborations between UK researchers and researchers from around the world, provide seed corn funding to establish partnerships, gather preliminary data, develop research ideas and strengthen applications for further funding, Enable UK and international research groups to exchange research staff, to share expertise and exchange ideas.

This authorization primarily targets museums, art centers, galleries, and associations, but also welcomes applications from independent or established curators, critics, and theorists. The projects must be presented in cooperation between the two countries and will be evaluated by an independent expert jury. The latest projects are scheduled between February and December 2026.

The fund supports a range of expenses including travel, fees, accommodation, living expenses, communication, publications, technical costs, and transportation, but it does not finance the production of works. PERSPEKTIVE provides support for up to 50% of the overall budget, with a maximum grant of €10,000 per project.

Eligibility is limited to one-off projects with a focus on exchange and dialogue between France and Germany. These may include debates, performances, exhibitions, workshops, round tables, or festivals. The participants must be professionals in the visual arts field, with French speakers (or those living in France) participating in Germany, and German speakers (or those living in Germany) participating in France. Projects must be led by cultural institutions or structures with legal status, while projects led by individuals or involving students at universities or art schools are not eligible.

The selection process is overseen by a jury of Franco-German experts who will evaluate the proposals based on their quality and alignment with the fund’s objectives.

Each application must include four separate PDF documents: the application form, a detailed project description, participants’ CVs, and the detailed budget and financing plan. Submissions must either be in both French and German or only in English, and applicants are required to follow the specified naming conventions for each document. Applications must be submitted by email before the deadline of January 4, 2026.
