Harpic® Challenge for Mexico: Cash Prizes of up to $1 million

EIC Pathfinder Challenge: Mid to Long Term and Systems Integrated Energy Storage

Deadline: 20-Mar-22

In order to break the chain of gastrointestinal infections in Mexican children, Harpic is seeking an affordable method to provide water services, for sinks, cleaning and sanitation, to school bathrooms in Mexico that are not connected to an aqueduct.

InnoCentive is the global innovation marketplace where creative minds solve some of the world’s most important problems for cash prizes of up to $1 million. Commercial, government and humanitarian organizations collaborate with InnoCentive to solve problems that can affect humanity in areas ranging from the environment to medical breakthroughs.

An InnoCentive eRFP Challenge allows Seekers to submit Requests for Proposals for a partner or supplier to provide materials or expertise to solve a business challenge by leveraging the InnoCentive Solver network. This global community includes organizations and individuals, such as contract research organizations, scientists, university researchers and technology companies.

One of Reckitt’s global brands, Harpic is on a mission to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6, with the aim of ensuring that everyone has access to hygienically clean toilets. Harpic works to break the silence of the global sanitation crisis and provide products that help people take practical steps to make their homes cleaner and healthier.

To solve this problem, they are looking for solutions that are scalable, and can be easily implemented in diverse scenarios and locations in the country with little infrastructure development or that depend on a specific territorial condition.
