The Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation (SAMRS) is currently accepting applications for grants for projects to send a volunteer / expert-volunteer / expert-volunteer to a partner country for 2022.

SAMRS, with the Focus of Bilateral Development Cooperation of the Slovak Republic for 2022, with the  Medium-Term Strategy of Development Cooperation of the Slovak Republic for 2019-2023, with the Concept of Sending Volunteers and Experts-Volunteers to Developing Countries, declares with the EU Gender Action Plan III, the European Consensus on Development, the European Green Agreement and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development launched a call for applications.

The purpose of the call for applications for the posting volunteer / volunteer expert-volunteer / expert volunteer within the development cooperation of the Slovak Republic is support for achieving sustainable development goals in partner countries such as reduction poverty, helping to transform society, raising educational attainment, etc.

The main goal of the volunteer / expert activity is to support development interventions in partner countries in accordance with the currently valid medium-term development cooperation strategy of the Slovak Republic

The partial goals are to increase awareness and support of the Slovak public in favor of development cooperation and humanitarian aid, to strengthen the capacities of local partners and communities in partner countries through the transfer of knowledge and skills; creating long-term partnerships and institutional relations between Slovak entities and their partners in partner countries as well as national staff capacity building.
