UNICEF is seeking proposals from international and local civil society organizations registered in Zimbabwe to support the establishment of the Rural WASH Information Management System SMS Notification and Response (RWIMS.SNR) in Mashonaland East.
The call is open to organisations that have experience in WASH development with strength in information management at various levels. i.e. national, provincial, district.
UNICEF would like to partner with Civil Society Organizations to provide technical assistance in the establishment of RWIMS.SNR. Implementation of RWIMS.SNR will be guided by the Information Knowledge Management Taskforce of the National Action Committee for Water Sanitation and Hygiene, Government of Zimbabwe. The establishment of RWIMS.SNR is a component of the Rural WASH Project under Thematic Area 4: WASH Governance. RWIMS.SNR will be established in all 9 districts of Mashonaland East.
Eligibility Criteria
- The civil society organizations should have experience within the past 5 years, of programming on WASH development in Zimbabwe with strong skills in information management and establishment of robust national/provincial monitoring systems;
- The organizations should be registered to work in Zimbabwe c. WASH should be part of the organisation’s mandate and the organisation’s geographical spread should include the target province.
