Grants available for Gender-Based Violence Prevention

CFPs: Enhancing the position of Women to decrease Discrimination and Gender-based Violence (Serbia)

Deadline: 05-Oct-2025

The Open Lithuania Foundation, in partnership with organizations from Latvia and Estonia, is inviting applications for funding under a regional initiative focused on preventing gender-based violence.

This opportunity brings together civil society actors across the Baltic region, creating a collaborative space where NGOs can strengthen their capacity and partner on impactful advocacy efforts.

Non-governmental organizations from Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia are eligible to apply for funding of up to €60,000. This financial support is intended for activities aimed at strengthening the prevention of gender-based violence and improving responses to it. Funded initiatives may include advocacy campaigns, awareness-raising efforts, or educational programmes that challenge harmful gender norms and promote safety and equity.

Participants will benefit from dedicated mentoring alongside peer organizations, enhancing their ability to approach gender-based violence with strategic perspectives and more inclusive practice. Once equipped with these insights, NGOs are invited to submit proposals that reflect their local expertise while contributing to broader regional impact.

Operating over a three-year implementation period, this programme emphasizes joint efforts and encourages organizations to bridge gaps between regions. The structured support not only aims to build organisational resilience, but also to enable grassroots initiatives to gain momentum and visibility in tackling violence and stereotypes.

This invitation represents a chance for NGOs rooted in local communities to grow through peer learning, mentorship, and financial backing, all while contributing actively to building safer and more equitable societies across the Baltic states.
