UN Women is seeking proposals to support organisations in enhancing services for women and girls affected by violence in earthquake-affected and migration-receiving provinces. The program aims to strengthen prevention, protection, and empowerment interventions while building institutional capacity, improving access to socio-economic opportunities, and ensuring survivor-centred service delivery.

Key Focus Areas

  • Quality Services: Improve access to prevention, protection, and empowerment services for women and girls at risk or survivors of violence, aligned with national and international standards.

  • Shelter Support: Reconstruct and refurbish women’s shelters and violence prevention and monitoring centres to meet growing demand.

  • Capacity Building: Enhance skills and technical knowledge of public personnel providing VAWG services in Ministry of Family and Social Services (MoFSS) and law enforcement institutions.

  • Socio-Economic Empowerment: Expand access for survivors to post-shelter support and livelihood opportunities.

Intervention Lots

Lot 1: Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)

  • Tailored psychosocial support for personnel in shelters, VPMCs, and Provincial Directorates of Family and Social Services.

  • Training in trauma-informed counselling, survivor-centred approaches, crisis intervention, and self-care.

  • Development of online training modules and service tools.

Lot 2: Survivor-Centred Case Management and Supervision

  • Strengthen institutional capacity of shelters and VPMCs.

  • Training on ethical and legal frameworks and development of standardized protocols and referral pathways.

  • Mentoring, coaching, and supervision for MoFSS staff to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.

Lot 3: Men’s Engagement in Ending Violence Against Women (EVAW) and Women’s Empowerment

  • Engage male personnel in VAWG services and male community leaders through seminars and awareness initiatives.

  • Promote gender equality and involve men as active participants in violence prevention.

Funding Details

  • Maximum grant: $90,000 USD per lot.

  • Proposals should be submitted in Turkish Lira using the latest UN Operational Rates of Exchange.

  • Funding supports sustainable capacity building, knowledge sharing, and survivor-centred approaches.
