Open Call: Youth Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina in RYCO Governing Board

Call for Proposals - Empowering Youth in the EU Outermost Regions

The Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO), the Youth Council of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (VM FBIH), the Youth Council of Republika Srpska (OSRS) and the Youth Council of the Brcko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina (VSMBD) have announce a open call for the Youth Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the RYCO Governing Board.

The Youth Representative in the Steering Committee shall represent the common voice of the youth of Bosnia and Herzegovina and with his work and engagement will be a representative of the youth sector in BiH.

According to pre-agreed plans, the youth representative actively participates in regional initiatives, meetings and activities with other youth representatives, members of the RYCO Board of Directors.

The duty of the youth representative as a member of the Management Board is, among other things, to participate in adoption of a three-year strategic plan and annual operational plans, adoption of annual budget and three-year financial plan, approval of annual program and financial reports, providing political support to the parties for strategic, operational and financial plans, giving consent for the establishment of working groups on certain issues related with the youth, the appointment and dismissal of the Secretary General of the Secretariat, the decision on concluding cooperation agreements with participants and organizations outside Contracting Parties, the establishment of a selection committee for the staff of the Secretariat and local branches, and reporting to civil society and umbrella organizations on the work and results achieved iregular participation in all meetings of the Board of Directors.
