Training in Facilitation Practices and Trauma-Informed Leadership Programme

NOFO: Public Diplomacy Strategic Programs (Argentina)

Deadline: 01-Oct-2025

The Pocket Project is expanding in Ukraine and is inviting 25 young Ukrainians (ages 18–35) to participate in free training in facilitation practices and trauma-informed leadership.

This unique opportunity is designed to nurture a generation of young leaders who can hold safe and supportive spaces for their communities. Through the program, participants will explore trauma-informed leadership and social resilience, while developing practical facilitation skills to guide collective healing processes.

The program offers a self-study course on Trauma-Informed Leadership and Social Resilience, along with training on the basics of facilitation and supervised practice in conducting Resilience Circles. Participants will join a global and local community of practitioners who share the values of resilience, empathetic leadership, and mutual support. The course also provides the opportunity to conduct paid Resilience Circles within one’s community, while receiving continued support and skill enhancement through free supervision meetings.

They will also develop tools for personal healing and deeper self-understanding, as well as skills to support their circle of influence through responsive leadership. In addition to professional growth, the program fosters community and collaboration with like-minded individuals. The language of instruction is English, with Ukrainian translation available, and the training format combines online recorded materials with live sessions on Zoom.

Participants will not only receive training but also engage in supervised practice, gaining hands-on experience in conducting Resilience Circles. These circles serve as supportive spaces that foster connection, resilience, and healing within local communities.

An important part of the program is joining both a local and international network of practitioners. This community emphasizes resilience, empathetic leadership, and mutual support, ensuring that participants remain connected and inspired beyond the training itself.

In addition to knowledge and skills, the program also offers participants the opportunity to conduct paid Resilience Circles, giving them the chance to bring real impact to their communities while being supported by free supervision meetings that deepen their learning journey. The deadline for application is 1 October 2025.
