Deadline: 28 November 2025
The Ireland Funds has launched its Community Impact Fund, offering a timely opportunity for organisations supporting communities across Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
This funding round aims to provide much-needed financial support to projects that make a meaningful difference, regardless of whether the communities are of Irish descent.
Charities are invited to apply for grants of £10,000 to deliver projects with significant impact. For organisations with smaller-scale initiatives, there is also the option to apply for a grant of £2,000, ensuring flexibility to meet different levels of community need. The final grant awarded is determined by the Grants Committee and the IFGB Board, based on the merits of each application.
Eligibility for the fund requires thorough due diligence. Organisations must provide a governing document such as a Memorandum & Articles of Association, Trust Deed, or Constitution, alongside financial statements, whether audited or unaudited. The governing document must include clauses covering the allocation of income, director remuneration, winding up procedures, and limited liability to ensure funds are used solely for the organisation’s charitable purpose.
Applications must be completed in full to be considered. Incomplete forms or late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances. The Ireland Funds stresses that only applications of the highest quality will be reviewed and scored by the Grants Committee, making careful preparation essential for success.
This fund represents a valuable opportunity for charities seeking to expand their impact, strengthen community support, and deliver meaningful change across diverse communities in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
