Earle Creativity & Development Trust Grant Program (New Zealand)

Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program (Djibouti)

Deadline: 01-Sep-2025

The Creativity and Development Trust funds local projects in arts and technical sciences, supporting specific initiatives each year. Funding is offered in two main areas annually, alternating between them.

In the Visual Arts category, the Trust supports developments in fine arts and works to strengthen the artistic community in the Manawatū and Rangitīkei districts. Music funding encourages creativity by helping develop performance skills and the creation of new music works. The Science & Technology area assists innovators in advancing their ideas through initial development stages toward practical outcomes. History & Literature funding promotes creativity in writing new material in prose, poetry, or drama.

Grants in Visual Arts typically support individuals or groups working to build skills and knowledge, create tangible designs, software, or final artworks. Projects may require resources such as materials, research, or prototypes to develop creative ideas.

The Trust plans to award $50,000 each to Science & Technology and Visual Arts in even-numbered years. In odd-numbered years, $50,000 each is allocated to Literature & History and Music. The minimum grant awarded is usually $5,000.

Applicants must be residents of, or closely connected to, the Manawatū and Rangitīkei region. While tertiary students can apply individually, secondary school students are only eligible when the application is submitted by their school for a group project. Multiple applications can be submitted, with each considered independently.
