The iF Design Student Award 2026 is now open, offering students and recent design graduates a global platform to showcase future-oriented design concepts addressing real-world challenges. Participation is free, with winners sharing EUR 50,000 in prize money and receiving international recognition. The submission deadline is 28 January 2026, with winners celebrated in June 2026 in Frankfurt, Germany.

The iF Design Student Award invites young designers from around the world to submit innovative, socially relevant concepts and gain international visibility. The award celebrates design ideas that address urgent global challenges while reflecting ethical responsibility, feasibility and positive social impact.

Winners will be honoured during a two-day award event in June 2026 in Frankfurt, Germany, the World Design Capital 2026, as part of the official WDC programme activities.
