Applications for the first EMEA Google for Startups Accelerator: Cloud are now open.
Google for Startups Accelerator: Cloud is a 10-week virtual program of intensive workshops and expert mentorship for growth-stage startups based in Europe and Israel.
Selected startups will receive both one-to-one mentoring sessions and participate in wider group sessions focused on technology, product development, and go-to-market strategy and will be supported throughout by Google SMEs, experienced engineers, and external experts.
The Google for Startups Accelerator: Cloud program is completely free for all participating startups, and Google does not take any equity. Please note that they do require all founders (CEO & CTO) and appropriate team members to be available to join all program elements of their cohort.

Format
- In light of COVID-19, all Google for Startups Accelerator programs is virtual.
- Over ten weeks, startups receive mentoring and technical support from Google SMEs, experienced engineers, and external experts tailored to their business through a mix of 1-to-1 and 1-to-many learning sessions. Participants will also be paired with a dedicated Startup Success Manager (SSM) from Google to help them get the best of the people, products, and best practices.
- At the end of the program, the cohort will showcase their achievements in a virtual Demo Day in front of Google teams, mentors, investors, partners, and key stakeholders from the European startup ecosystem. After the program wraps up, startups will continue to receive Google support via the Google for Startups Accelerator alumni program & network.
Funding Information
- Google for Startups Accelerator: Cloud will kick off in May 2022 and run through July 2022. Please do not apply if you are not available to participate during these dates.
- Google for Startups Accelerator: Cloud startups will be eligible for the GFS: Cloud Program, with your first year of Google Cloud and Firebase usage covered with credits up to $100,000. Plus, in year two get 20% of Google Cloud and Firebase usage costs covered, up to an additional $100,000 in credits.
Eligibility Criteria
- The program is open to Seed to Series A stage, tech startups based in Europe and Israel. Google for Startups Accelerators is best suited for revenue-generating startups with a minimum of five or more employees.
- Founders (CEO & CTO) and appropriate team members must be available to join all program elements of their cohort.
- In order to ensure Google can provide meaningful value, startups should aim to leverage either Cloud or AI/ML technologies in their product, service, or operations and/or show an interest in leveraging these technologies in the future.
