2016 EESC Civil Society Prize: Rewarding Initiatives Aimed at Improving Migrants’ Lives

Grant Opportunities focusing on Social & Economic Challenges faced by African NGOs

The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is currently inviting applications for EESC Civil Society Prize 2016, in order to reward initiatives carried out by civil society organisations and/or individuals and aimed at improving migrants’ lives and fostering their integration in society.

The overall objective of the prize is to raise awareness of the contribution that civil society organisations and/or individuals can make to the creation of a European identity and citizenshipin a way that underpins the common values that shore up European integration.

The theme of this year’s EESC Civil Society Prize is Migrants.

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the UK.
