The Conservation Leadership Programme is seeking applications for its 2018 Future Conservationist Award to support projects in the Asia Pacific region focused on either tree species or non-avian marine species based in seaward habitats.

The Conservation Leadership Programme (CLP) is a training and capacity building programme that targets individuals from developing countries who are early in their conservation career and demonstrate leadership potential.

Working as a partnership initiative with Bird Life International, Fauna & Flora International and the Wildlife Conservation Society, CLP builds the leadership capabilities of early-career conservation professionals working in places with limited capacity to address high-priority conservation issues.

Award Information

CLP offers Future Conservationist Awards of up to US$12,500 each to develop leadership capacity of early career conservationists who want to make a positive difference on the ground

To be eligible for a CLP Future Conservationist Award, the team and project must meet the following criteria:
