Call for Applications: UBC’s Visiting Scholarship for Students from India and Commonwealth Countries in Africa

The University of British Columbia (UBC) is currently inviting applications from outstanding students from India and Commonwealth countries in Africa currently enrolled in a postgraduate program to apply for funding to be a visiting scholar at UBC for a period of four months. During this time, visiting scholars may engage in seminars and develop skills relevant to their current research work.

Applicants must currently be conducting forestry research at a university in India or Commonwealth countries in Africa (preferably, at one of our partner institutions) and identify a UBC faculty member who is willing to mentor them during their visit to UBC.

Benefits

The scholarship covers airfare (max C$2,100) and living expenses (C$1,500 month x 4 months).
