Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS): Maintaining Sustainable Environment

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) was established on May 28 1975 via the treaty of Lagos with a vision to create a borderless region where the population has access to its abundant resources and is able to exploit same through the creation of opportunities under a sustainable environment.

Objectives

Enterprises are supported to:

  1. Improve their QMS
  2. Monitor them continually
  3. Qualify their production process for selected appropriate tradable products in the field of agribusiness, like i.e. mangos, cashew nuts, and coffee.

Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Cote d’ Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Senegal and Togo
