EU Call for Proposals: Support to Promoting Environmentally Sustainable Commercial Aquaculture in Uganda (PESCA)

The European Union (EU) is seeking proposals from eligible organisations for a program entitled “Support to Promoting Environmentally Sustainable Commercial Aquaculture in Uganda (PESCA)” to contribute to a competitive, job-intensive, environmentally sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture sector in Uganda.

The Project Purpose is to improve food and nutrition security, increase income and improve livelihoods, promote an environmentally-sustainable, inclusive and climate-resilient socio-economic development, focussing on a market-oriented aquaculture value chain targeting the national and regional markets, and focussing on smallholders and smallholders’ associations.

The specific objective of the project is: to support the development of a competitive, job-intensive, environmentally-sustainable and climate-resilient aquaculture value chain in a comprehensive manner.
