European Union Support to the Georgian Competition Agency

The European Union (EU) is currently accepting proposals from eligible organizations to support the Georgian Competition Agency. The objective of the project is to support the law enforcement capacity of the Competition Agency by strengthening the professional ability of its Staff to deal with rules and norms, governing the competition in Georgia, and with a wide range of related market issues.

The project will also develop the capacities of the Georgian Competition Agency to meet the provisions of the DCFTA in its area of competence. The Project will contribute to the improvement of the competition culture in Georgia.

Funding Information

The availability of funding up to the estimated amount of approximately EUR 1,000,000.00

Eligibility Criteria

Participation is open to all natural persons who are nationals of and legal persons (participating either individually or in a grouping – consortium – of tenderers) which are effectively established in a Member State of the European Union or in a eligible country or territory establishing common rules and procedures for the implementation of the Union’s instruments for external action (CIR) for the applicable Instrument under which the contract is financed. Participation is also open to international organisations.
