Global Environment Facility Small Grants Program for NGOs/CBOs Working Around the World

The United Nations Development Program Global Environment Facility Small Grants Program (UNDP GEF SGP) was launched by the GEF through the United Nations Development Program to assist developing countries in fulfilling their commitment of protection of the global environment through local actions.

The maximum grant amount per project is US$50,000, but averages around US$25,000.

Eligibility Criteria

How to Apply?

Interested NGOs/CBOs must download generic forms including Concept Paper and Guidance Notes plus Program Strategy from the UNDP website and submit their Concept Paper with relevant attachments via email or post.

Note: All concept papers must be submitted in Microsoft Word versions.
