The United States Government (USG), as represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Bureau for Democracy, Conflict, and Humanitarian Assistance (DCHA), Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA), is seeking applications from eligible organisations to fund an initiative called “Next Generation of Humanitarian Leaders” with an aim to  broaden engagement in the humanitarian response community by expanding academic instruction and professional development training available to community-based, national and/or international NGOs on humanitarian policies and practice.

USAID/OFDA’s primary objective will be to improve humanitarian response by increasing the cadre of humanitarian professionals and experts.
