USAID’s Development Innovations: Seeking Concept Notes for ‘Young Innovate Cambodia’ Program

Development Innovations (DI) is seeking concept notes for its Youth Innovate Cambodia program that aims to transform innovative ideas from Cambodia individuals into real activities and solutions.

Innovations and great ideas can come from anyone, especially young people who see the problems in their communities but often do not have resources to test their potential solutions. Many young people come to DI looking for small funds to kick-start their projects, but don’t have a formal affiliation to use to apply for funds.

Through the Youth Innovate Cambodia, young people will have the opportunity and resources to transform ideas to develop new ICT-enabled projects that address a social issue for Cambodians.

Funding Information

The selected applicants will be awarded up to $3,500 and receive DI training and coaching to test their innovative concepts/ideas using ICTs.

Illustrative Activities

Examples of illustrative activities may include:

ICT tools may include, but are not limited to, social media campaigns, blog, websites, software, hardware, wireless technologies, mobile app, digital games, Artificial Intelligence or Augmented Reality tools, and other digital technologies.
