Why applying for Awards and Prizes can be a Great Opportunity

Submit Applications for Travel and Logistics Program for Training Support

Many international agencies announce calls for applications for awards and prizes regularly to recognize, honor and even provide financial support to NGOs, activists, social scientists and development practitioners for their exemplary work.

However, many deserving organizations and individuals miss submitting their applications for these awards and prizes mostly because they fail to understand their relevance. The awards and prizes are not just awards and prizes! They contain an enormous value in terms of recognizing the actual worth of your hard work. They offer an opportunity for you to showcase yourself and your work to a large international audience as these award organizers have a large reach over influential people.

Besides, even participating in these award competitions opens up networking possibilities for NGOs to build synergies.

Also, many of these awards and prizes also offer grants to organizations and individuals for starting new projects, replicating successes and/or scaling up their current operations.

Awards and prizes are a great source of inspiration for social change agents and applying and participating in them can open up newer possibilities.

Below is a list of open awards and prizes for you to apply!
