Call for Entries: Live Your Dream Award

Call for Nominations: Achievement Awards 2025

Deadline: 15-Nov-2025

Applications are now open for the Live Your Dream Award, designed to support women striving to overcome financial barriers and achieve their educational goals. This award can help cover tuition costs, purchase books, secure transportation, or access reliable childcare—allowing recipients to focus more on their studies and less on financial stress.

Award recipients have the opportunity to receive between $1,000 and $16,000 to support their education. At the club level, award amounts vary, but recipients typically receive an average of $1,000 from a local Soroptimist club. Each club selects a first-place winner who advances to the next stage of judging.

At the region level, club winners are eligible for an additional $3,000 or $5,000 award. Each region then selects a first-place recipient who moves on to the international level, where three awards are given among all regional winners.

To be eligible, applicants must be women who are the primary financial providers for themselves and their dependents. Dependents may include children, a spouse or partner, siblings, or parents. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and be enrolled in or accepted to a vocational training program or undergraduate degree course.

Applicants should also be motivated to achieve their education and career goals. They must reside in one of Soroptimist International of the Americas’ member countries or territories, including the U.S., Canada, Japan, the Philippines, and several countries in Latin America.

Women who have already received the Live Your Dream or Women’s Opportunity Award, or those who currently hold or are pursuing a graduate degree, are not eligible. Additionally, members and employees of Soroptimist International, as well as their immediate family members, cannot apply.

Applicants must agree to write their essays in their own words and not use artificial intelligence tools to complete them. Women residing in the United States and Canada, including territories, can now begin the application process.
