On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child by the United Nations on November 20, 1989, the French Embassy is currently accepting applications for the fourth edition of its Human Rights Prize 2019.
The Human Rights Prize of the French Embassy in Georgia was created to reward local organizations working for the protection and promotion of human rights. France wishes to show its support for defenders of fundamental rights in Georgia.
Prize Information
With a prize of 2000 euros, the prize will be awarded at a ceremony in February 2020.
Eligibility Criteria
Any Georgian non-governmental organization is invited to propose one or more actions, in progress or completed, related to the theme selected for the 2019 edition:
- “Defend the Rights of the Child”
