Training for Civil Society on Trial Monitoring and Advocacy for Child-friendly Justice: Ukraine

You are a civil society activist aspiring to new knowledge and skills in the area of trial monitoring? You are a child-friendly justice promoter? If yes, then this event is definitely for you!

The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe’s (OSCE) Training for Civil Society on Trial Monitoring and Advocacy for Child-friendly Justice to strengthen the capacity of civil society to conduct trial monitoring of cases concerning minor’s rights in line with international practices.

The OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine in co-operation with the Ombudsperson will conduct a training for 20 civil society representatives.

The special focus will be on advocacy component of trial monitoring as a powerful tool to persuade or influence those in positions of power to adopt and implement policies or practices that can yield a more human rights compliant and effective justice system.

The training is fully covered by the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine, and is held within the project “Enhancing Capacity for Trial Monitoring and Advocacy for Child-Friendly Justice Delivery in Ukraine” implemented jointly with the Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.

23-25 June 2021 – training “Trial Monitoring and Advocacy for Child-friendly Justice”, organized by the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine and the Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights(Location – Kyiv region).
