The call opens for projects to be implemented in 2025, with proposals due by 10 November 2024.
Projects should run for up to eight months (from 1 March 2025 to 31 October 2025) and can request up to 500,000 Czech crowns in budget support. Organisations must operate as non‑governmental entities and must align with a defined set of thematic priorities: supporting civil society and human rights defenders, promoting freedom of expression and media, enabling equal political and public participation, strengthening institution‑building in the rule of law, advancing equality and non‑discrimination, and promoting human rights in employment and the environmental context.
Applicants are required to deliver their proposal along with proof of legal status (ideally as a public benefit organisation) and evidence that the person submitting is authorised to act on behalf of the organisation. The initiative should also correspond with national development priorities of the country of implementation. Expenses will be reimbursed after the submission of original invoices and the project must begin only after the contractual agreement has been signed.
This offering represents a valuable chance for eligible civil‑society organisations to secure funding, support transformative human‑rights and governance work, and strengthen their impact in the region. Interested organisations should ensure all documentation is complete and submitted both in original hard copy and scanned form by the deadline.
