Deadline: 19-Nov-2025
An engaging two‑day capacity‑building training is being offered by STGM under its Resource Centre Project, supported by the European Union, and it will take place in Hopa on the 28th and 29th of November 2025.
The event will use interactive methods, presentations, group work and practical examples to explore key themes including freedom of association, legislation governing associations and effective digital communication.
Participants will have the chance to discuss challenges they face, share experiences with peers and collaborate on finding solutions. The training will delve into rights‑based approaches, the fundamentals of association legislation and legal obligations, and will also focus on how civil society organisations can harness digital communication and social media more effectively to achieve their goals.
Eligible to apply are civil society organisations such as associations, foundations, initiatives, unions, platforms and non‑profit cooperatives operating in Artvin, Rize or neighbouring provinces. Members, volunteers or professionals from these organisations are welcome to join, though priority will be given to organisations working with rights‑based approaches. Applicants should note that travel and accommodation expenses will not be covered.
Once selected, participating organisations will receive notifications detailing the venue and other relevant logistics. This training offers CSOs in the region a practical chance to strengthen their legal, advocacy and communication capacities within a short, two‑day intensive format.
