Civil Society Facility South: Online Lab for Training of Trainers (TOTs) for Civil Society Organisations

Request for Proposals: UNDP GEF Small Grants Programme in Cambodia

Deadline: 6 June 2017

The Civil Society Facility South (CSFS, based in Tunis) has announced the call for applications for its Online Lab for Training of Trainers (TOTs) for Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) from the Southern Mediterranean region.

This Online Lab project is designed to strengthen the CSOs dialogue capacities in 10 countries. The new online TOT builds on the experience made during the previous programme 2016 / 2017.

The main objective is to support regional networks of TOTs that could develop trainings for CSOs in their countries and provide them relevant tools to advance on national and regional policy dialogue agendas. This “CSOs Policy Online Training Lab” is organised by the CSF South (technical assistance of the European Commission).

Operating from the local to the national, regional and international levels, they comprise urban and rural, formal and informal organisations. They include membership-based, cause-based and service-oriented CSOs. Among them, community-based organisations, non-governmental organisations, faith-based organisations, foundations, research institutions, Gender and LGBT organisations, cooperatives, professional and business associations, and the not-for-profit media. Trade unions and employers’ organisations, the so-called social partners, constitute a specific category of CSOs.”
