Development Innovations (DI) is seeking applications for its Sustainable Innovation Programs Fund to support civil society organizations (CSOs) and/or private companies that are interested in implementing new or existing programs that:
- Build capacity and deliver support for Cambodians to increase their knowledge and ability to:
- Use ICTs;
- Design new ICT tools;
- Co-create new ICT tools; and/or
- Apply innovative design processes
- Disseminate knowledge and/or resources about innovative design processes
- Support the growth of innovative social entrepreneurs and startups in Cambodia
- Deliver mentorship, internship, and/or vocational support to students (especially women) interested in/or pursuing technology fields
Programs could include, but are not limited to, events, educational/vocational programs, workshops, trainings, campaigns, development of toolkits/resources etc.
The purpose of this Annual Program Statement (APS) is to solicit applications for funding. DAI Global, LLC (DAI), through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is seeking applications from organizations and companies who need funding for new or existing sustainable innovation programs that align with the objectives of the Development Innovations project.
Funding Information
- DAI will be providing funding for grant activities, with no single grant exceeding $50,000.
- DAI intends to provide approximately 6 grants, subject to availability of funding.
- All award activities must have a period of performance of no more than 7 months.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to meet minimum eligibility criteria for grant award, the applicant or its grant application must:
- Be an officially registered entity/organization in Cambodia (NGOs need to be registered with Ministry of Interior or Ministry of Foreign Affairs and companies need to be registered with the Ministry of Commerce).
