Apply for Haventus Ardersier Port Community Benefit Fund Program (UK)

Apply now for Community Project Grant (Australia)

Deadline: 30-Nov-2025

The Foundation Scotland is now accepting applications for its Haventus Ardersier Port Community Benefit Fund.

The fund is intended to benefit people living in the community council areas of Petty and Ardersier, Cawdor and West Nairnshire, Croy and Culloden Moor and Nairn West and Suburban in the Highland region of Scotland.

This fund provides up to £10,000 for eligible projects, with smaller grants between £200 and £1,000 available for applications submitted at any time. The fund was launched in August 2024 and will provide an annual budget of £100,000 for ten years, rising in line with inflation, so local groups can apply for support now and in future rounds.

The purpose of the fund is to support charitable activity aimed at improving the quality of life for local communities, encouraging stronger community spirit and participation, and contributing to vibrant, healthy and sustainable places to live. Projects might include equipment, facility refurbishment, running costs for local groups, or other initiatives that make a visible difference in the area.

Applications are open to constituted not‑for‑profit groups or organisations that serve residents in the eligible areas; you do not have to be a registered charity to apply, but your work must deliver charitable benefit to those communities. A local panel made up of people from the four community council areas will assess applications and make award decisions, ensuring that funding remains rooted in the priorities of the local communities themselves.

For any group based in these Highland communities, this fund offers a meaningful opportunity to secure resources to make a positive impact. Whether it’s improving facilities, expanding services or creating new community activities, the Haventus Ardersier Port Community Benefit Fund is now open and ready to help support local ambitions.
