Call for Applications: Community Development Micro Grants Program (UK)

Kingston Council's Community Resilience Fund – United Kingdom

Deadline: 28-November-2025

With funding of up to £1,000 available, the programme is designed to support projects that make a real difference in local communities.

Projects should aim to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of residents, helping people feel happier, healthier, and more connected. Initiatives that encourage participation and reduce isolation are also encouraged, providing opportunities for people to engage with their community and build meaningful relationships.

The programme also supports activities that develop skills and capacity, giving individuals and groups the chance to learn, grow, and gain confidence. Projects that enable participation in heritage, culture, arts, or sport are welcomed, helping communities connect with their traditions and interests while fostering creativity and enjoyment.

Another key focus of the Micro Grant Programme is bringing people from different backgrounds together. By promoting inclusion and understanding, projects can strengthen social cohesion and create a more united community. Environmental sustainability is also a priority, with support for initiatives that protect the environment and promote greener practices.

To be eligible, groups must be not-for-profit organizations with a clear community development focus. The majority of beneficiaries should live within the Council area, and applicants must not have already exceeded the maximum number of grants for the year.

This programme provides a valuable chance for local organizations to make a tangible impact. By aligning projects with the programme’s objectives, groups can secure funding to deliver meaningful change and build stronger, more connected communities.
