Deadline: 16-Jan-2026
Applicants are now invited to submit applications for Stafford Borough Council Small Grants.
Grants of up to £1,000 are available to support community projects that deliver tangible benefits within Stafford Borough. The fund aims to assist organisations in developing initiatives that enhance local life, from small-scale projects to community events or capacity-building activities.
Eligible costs for the grant include equipment purchases, capital investments, training, revenue costs, project-specific expenses, and event-related costs. These provisions allow organisations to cover a wide range of essential expenditures needed to make their projects successful.
Certain projects are not eligible for funding. These include initiatives that could be supported through Stafford Borough Council’s sports or arts grants, medical research projects, or activities focused on animal welfare. Core costs such as staff salaries and general running expenses are also excluded. Additionally, the fund does not support projects that promote religion, though religious organisations can apply for non-religious projects, and applications advancing a particular political party are ineligible.
This grant provides a valuable opportunity for local organisations to secure funding for community-focused activities, helping to strengthen social engagement, deliver meaningful services, and enrich the local area.
