We Love The Moorlands is a place-based fund dedicated to supporting grassroots projects and community initiatives across the Staffordshire Moorlands.
With a strong focus on local impact, the fund provides small but meaningful grants to help organisations deliver and improve services that benefit residents in towns and villages throughout the district.
Grants ranging from £100 to £1,000 are available and can be used for both capital and revenue projects. While repeat funding for the same project in consecutive years is uncommon, it may be considered if there is clear evidence of increased need or significant project development.
The aim of the fund is to support organisations that provide facilities or services for local people. This includes enhancing current service provision, launching new services, improving operational efficiency, or expanding access to benefit more individuals. Whether it’s for equipment, materials, facility upgrades, or other improvements, the fund is designed to help community groups grow their impact.
We Love The Moorlands welcomes applications from constituted community groups, voluntary organisations, registered charities, and social enterprises with a charitable focus. These groups must demonstrate a commitment to delivering services that make a positive difference within the Moorlands community.
However, funding is not available for non-constituted groups, statutory agencies, or private businesses without charitable aims. Limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships that do not operate for public benefit are also ineligible for support.
