CFPs: Get Active Highland Fund Program (UK)

Micro-Grants for Legal Compliance Support for Women-Led/Serving CSOs in Chitral (Pakistan)

Deadline: 10-Nov-2025

High Life Highland has introduced the Get Active Highland Fund, a new initiative designed to support local sports clubs and community groups across the Highlands.

The fund offers up to £5,000 in financial assistance to help reduce barriers to participation and encourage people of all ages and abilities to engage more actively in physical activity.

Eligible applicants include constituted community clubs and organisations within the Highland Council area that deliver sport or physical activity opportunities. Non‑constituted groups can also seek support via local Community Sport Hubs or National Governing Bodies until they formally constitute. Funding is available for things such as sports equipment, coaching or volunteer development, facility hire or improvements, transport, event costs, and hardship support like membership subsidies. However, costs already incurred, retrospective funding, large building works, general running expenses, and salaries are excluded.

To apply, organisations must submit an online application—providing details of the project, budget, and expected impact—along with supporting documentation like governing documents, financial accounts, safeguarding policies, and insurance coverage. Awards must be spent within 12 months, and successful applicants must submit a project summary and participant feedback. The fund operates in funding rounds.

With the Get Active Highland Fund, High Life Highland aims to make physical activity more accessible and inclusive, supporting new and existing initiatives that boost health, community connection, and well‑being across the Highlands.
